NOTD: Zoya Robyn

Zoya Robyn

Anyone notice I wear these turquoisey colors a lot? Well there's a reason...1. It's my favorite color and 2. Do you see how pretty this is?! I don't own a lot of Zoya polishes, but they're quickly becoming a favorite brand.  This is 2 coats! It applies so smoothly and opaque! I purchased this baby from a professional nail supply store in my city, but you can get Zoya here for $7 each.

Winged eyeliner and corner lashes.  LOVE IT! Adds so much drama to a natural look. I usually take 20 pictures at different angles and in different lighting to make sure I get some good pictures to use...in this case I couldn't decide which pics to use, so I just used all of them haha.  There's like a million eyeballs in that collage.  Oh well :) Hope you like it.

So this probably looks weird, but I swatched these on a piece of white paper because I currently have this on my toes.  And because I don't like looking at people's feet on the internet, I figured I'd save you from lookin at my toes! Bridezilla is a VERY sheer, sparkley baby pink.  And when I say sheer I mean it took 4 coats to make it look opaque.  Fairy Dust...is just love. If you're girly, like me, you'll love it.  It looks good over anything.  It's micro fine rainbow glitter.  Both can be purchased from your local Sally Beauty Store or Head2toebeauty.com

NOTD: OPI Catch me in your net

OPI Catch me in your net. I've had my eye on this for a long long time and I know we've seen this one 100 times, but.....look how pretty!! I love it. I can not stop starring at my nails! It's showing up more blue in these pictures, but it's teal. Teal with a blue duo and LOTS of glitter! Not chunky glitter, but a nice, smooth, fine-milled glitter. Applies opaque in 2 coats, but this is 3 with a top coat. I found this at my local Meijer store for $8.50, and being that I'm a manicurist I can get it for waaaaaay cheaper, but that's how much I wanted this polish! Does that make me an addict?

All of these items were purchased from the Shop Craze website.  They have awesome prices! My total was about $38!! As far as I know these are legitimate MAC pigment samples.  As of today, though, when I went to the website all the MAC items were taken down. (????) I'm thinking about emailing customer service to ask why...

NOTD: L.A. Girl - Funkadelic

L.A. Girl Disco Brites

L.A. Girl Disco Brites

How cool is this polish?! Besides the fact that it glows under a black light, it's a gorgeous color! It reminds me of China Glaze - Shower Together! Which is one of my all time most favorite nail polishes!!
This was purchased for $3.95 from ShopCraze.com. Click here for Nail Color.  The site also has MAC pigment samples, and NYX products!
This is my first L.A. Girl polish, but I have to tell you that it applied like a dream! Opaque in 2 coats! I'll definitely be getting more! Any colors you'd like to see a swatch of? Let me know!!

The final say (product description taken from Sephora.com):
Some Kind-a Gorgeous: What it is: A sheer, oil-free, cream-to-powder complexion perfecter.
What it is formulated to do: This lightweight, translucent, foundation-like product smooths out imperfections and evens skin tone with a silky, smooth finish that's super natural and super gorgeous.
Sadly this stuff broke me out, but it does work.  I noticed my skin looked smoother after I would put a powder on top. It didn't crease or settle into my lines. Would I repurchase? If it didn't break me out? Absolutely.
"That Gal" Brightening Face Primer
: What it is: A silky pink primer that makes skin appear smoother and brighter. What it does: Prime your skin to pretty - go from dull to darling with "That Gal"! Wear alone for clear complexion radiance or apply before makeup for a smooth, effortless application. Plus you can use it to re-brighten throughout the day.
I really like this stuff! I mix it in with my moisturizer and I do notice a subtle glow to my skin.  I use it as a primer before applying powder and it makes my makeup stay all day. Would I repurchase? Yes!

High Beam
: What it is: A luminescent complexion enhancer. What it does: Benefit High Beam is an ethereal pink liquid highlighter that creates a radiantly dewy complexion. For an angelic sheen, this pink shimmering lotion adds a soft, natural afterglow.
This is BY FAR my most favoritest (yup, it's a word) product from both To Gos.  I use it under my brow for a highlight and along the tops of my cheek bones and I look so dewy and glowy...like an angel :) Would I repurchase? 100% yes!
Posietint
: What it is: A poppy-tinted lip and cheek stain. What it does: Benefit's Posietint is a petal-pink stain that plants a kiss of see-through tint on cheeks and lips. With hours of smudge-proof, just-picked perfection, you'll be the prettiest bloom in the bunch!
I've only used this once on my cheeks and I'm not in love with it.  It's not really my shade.  I tend to go for a mauve pink blush and not so much bright hot pink. I have yet to try it on my lips though! I might like it!

Ladies! Get your hands on this set NOW! Here's the link to purchase from Sephora.com. For $10 you can't go wrong!!

Product Review: Benefit To Go! PIC HEAVY!

Here's my review of the Benefit To Go "Stay Put" Set! Available online only at Sephora.com for $10!

This set contains:
- 0.09 oz Stay Don't Stray
- 0.11 oz Erase Paste in Medium
- 0.11 oz Creaseless Cream Eyeshadow in R.S.V.P.

The final say:
Stay Don't Stray: Love it! And I've heard mixed reviews on this, so I was skeptical.  I love that it's a thicker consistency and can be used underneath your eyes as a concealer.  It's doesn't get cakey on me like some have said, but I think it's because I set it with a powder (BE-Mineral Veil). Would I repurchase? Yes!
Erase Paste: This comes in the color Medium which isn't exactly my shade but I made it work.  I used it as an under eye concealer and then set it with powder.  Later in the day I did find that it settled in the fine lines around my eyes, but I just lightly used my finger to wipe it out of my lines and it was fine. Lately I've been using it under my eyes but not near my lines and making sure I set it with powder since it's a very creamy texture. Would I repurchase? No. But I'm thinking about trying Boi-ing concealer since I hear it's less creamy.

Creaseless Cream Eyeshadow: This stuff reminds me a lot of Urban Decay's primer potion in Sin.  It's the same champagne color and has the same consistency.  UDPP in Sin, although, has more of a golden shimmer to it and this has more of a silver sheen.  Very pretty in the sunlight! I used it as a base to apply a powder eyeshadow in a similar color on top, just as you would Sin.  The shadow didn't crease and lasted all day.  Would I repurchase? Yes, the full size product is $19 and comes in an array of beautiful colors!

For $10 I recommend getting your hands on one of these kits before Sephora sells out again. Here's the link again if you're interested.  It's a great way to familiarize yourself with Benefit before you purchase the bigger, more expensive products.  I think all cosmetic lines should do this!

Just remember that what may work for me, may not work for you and vise-versa.

And can I just say one more thing? I flippin LOVE Benefit's packaging! It's so cute!
